About APAC

![]() | The Association of Physician Assistants in Cardiology (or APAC) is a professional organization for Physician Assistants who practice in Cardiology. Since recognition as a specialty organization in 2003, APAC has made considerable progress toward our goal of becoming the primary resource and advocate for all cardiology PA's. As a specialty organization, APAC actively participates in the House of Delegates at the AAPA annual meeting to assure representation of specialty groups within the AAPA. APAC is also working to establish closer ties with the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American College of Cardiology (ACC), and encourages its members to become involved in the ACC as Cardiac Care Associates. Our MissionTo enhance the personal and professional growth of its constituent members and all Physician Assistants practicing in the Cardiology specialty through educational opportunities, community involvement, and political representation and advocacy. MembershipThe Association of Physician Assistants in Cardiology consists of Physician Assistants at all levels of their professional careers, ranging from PA students, to clinically practicing PA’s, to those working in academia, and beyond. APAC is largely supported through membership fees. Annual Membership is $50.00 for fellow members and $10.00 for student members. APAC encourages students to access the APAC website, where they are free to post questions about the practice of cardiology and request for rotational opportunities. |
